Partnering for impact
While each opportunity is assessed individually, Rendere is an invite-only Trust that provides strategic advice and core funding to get pioneering initiatives off the ground, strengthen organisational structures, build unity around the environmental sector and/or fill gaps where needed. Rendere’s core tenants focus on:
Scaling community conservation: leadership, networks and resilience
Rendere is committed to reversing the nature overdraft.
This overdraft represents the cumulative depletion of our natural resources and ecosystems caused by generations of over-extraction and underinvestment in nature. By acknowledging this ecological debt, we focus on investment in our life support systems, ensuring that future generations inherit an environment capable of sustaining them, their children and future generations.
How we create impact
Environmental solutions need long-term commitment, but we cannot afford to wait. Our approach ensures that resources are directed where they are needed now, prioritising bold actions to restore ecosystems and build resilience.
Collaboration and shared learning
No organisation or community can tackle environmental challenges alone. We connect not-for-profit organisations, First Nations groups, funders and government to align efforts, strengthen impact and share knowledge. By resourcing and growing networks, we help turn local action into large-scale, systemic change.
Empowering the next generation of conservation leaders
We invest in leadership development through mentoring, capacity-building and peer-led learning. By supporting emerging environmental leaders, we strengthen the movement’s ability to drive impact for years to come. This support can provide a source of talent for the sector overall.
Strengthening communities through trust-based funding
We take a flexible and trust-based approach, giving unrestricted, long-term funding rooted in mutual respect. This allows organisations and communities to develop solutions that work for them. By prioritising long-term sustainability, we ensure initiatives can transition from reliance on funding to independent resilience.
A Legacy of environmental resilience
Our impact is not measured by the longevity of Rendere itself, but by the ecosystems restored, organisations strengthened and communities empowered to protect nature.

Ecolands Collective
In some cases, the Trust leads new ventures, providing administration, communications and office support to get initiatives off the ground. Many of these are coordinated through the Ecolands Collective.
We enter into all of our relationships with the expectation that our support will extend the reach of these organisations and help them transition to the next stage of their development, where they can attract further funding and support.
